However, he received a lawyer's letter from Vitas which fobid him singing Vitas's any song in any show. The reason is that Dimash sang the cover version of Vitas's Opera 2 in the show "Singer" and the Global Chinese Spring Festival Gala without permission or authorization, a song written by Vitas when he was 18 and is also the debut song in the Kremlin when he was 19.
