On 1 February 2023 the new electronic form for EU trade marks (EUTMs) replaces the 5-Step Form and Advanced Form for trade marks.
The new online form is more intuitive, easier to use and has new features, including:
customisation options allowing you to tailor your filing experience;
a new design with full guidance and contextual help;
faster goods and services management;
The new form has been available to applicants since the 1 August 2022. Since then, 11 672 EUTM applications have been filed using this new system.
The new filing form also utilises a modernised IT architecture that paves the way for a smooth transition to the new website and User Area, planned for the new EUIPO Online Platform that will be launched in the coming months.
